  The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has said it has not heard anything from the federal government since they both met last Thursday. Recall that ASUU had met with the Federal government last week, a meet that concluded they said was concluded that the government had promised to pay ASUU that week. But representative speaker for ASUU explained on Tuesday that the Federal government had not commenced payment and had not reached out after the meeting. Hence adds that the given ultimatum still stands, as ASUU had given the government three weeks and one week has passed; they are left with two weeks. Popular Nigerian activist and Twitter influencer, Rinoula Oduala a.k.a SavvyRinu on Twitter has given a summary of how the first day of the panel set up to probe police brutality in the country went. Rinu Oduala and Temitope Majekodunmi were sworn in on Tuesday. They were nominated by youths via online voting. The two persons nominated by the youths in Lagos to represent them on the judicial panel of inquiry and restitution for victims of SARS-related abuses have been sworn in.
