Khafi Kareem, a contestant in the ongoing Big Brother Naija reality show, is currently being investigated by Scotland Yard for appearing on the show without permission, Evening Standard is reporting. Ms Kareem, a Met police officer, was refused permission to appear on the show by her superiors. Scotland Yard said it had not granted her request to appear on the programme and that an internal investigation would be carried out. Ms Kareem, from Ekiti State, was pictured alongside Commissioner Cressida Dick when the Met celebrated 100 years of women in the force last November. The 29-year-old, who joined the force as a police constable in 2015, was filmed allegedly having steamy on-screen romps with fellow contestant Ekpata Gedoni, 31, while appearing on the show. Amidst Sunday's eviction vote, Big Brother Naija 2019 Housemate, Jackye has speculated that Tacha is a ‘witch’. Jackye speaking to the official host of BBNaija, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu during the live eviction show, said Tacha may be using Jazz in the house. According to her, the bracelet Tacha wears on her angle had some symbols that represent such. “I told Khafi that Tacha brought jazz into the house because of her bracelet. “The bracelet has some symbols which I have read about,” she said. However, Tacha denied bringing jazz into the house, adding that the bracelet is part of the brand she sells on Instagram.

The fourth season of the Big Brother Naija reality show kicked off on Sunday with 21 housemates. This is the highest number of housemates so far, as 2017’s ‘See Gobe’ had 14 housemates and 2018’s ‘Double Wahala’ had 20.
