Brazilian attacking midfielder, Malcom, has left Barcelona after just one season with the 22-year-old completing a move to Russian Premier League side Zenit St. Petersburg in a £35 million deal which could rise to £38 million with add-ons. Malcom had signed a five-year deal with the Spanish champions ahead of the 2018/19 season after joining from Ligue 1 side, Girondins Bordeaux, for £36 million despite the French club previously reaching an agreement with Serie A side, AS Roma. But the Brazilian was only able to make 15 appearances for Barcelona in La Liga, scoring only one goal as Ernesto Valverde’s men retained the league title but fell to shock defeats in the Champions League semi-final and Copa del Rey final to Liverpool and Valencia respectively.

Chelsea midfielder, N’Golo Kante has dismissed reports linking him with a move away from Frank Lampard’s side to Paris Saint-Germain. The 2018 France World Cup winner said he is happy in Chelsea as he is also preparing for the upcoming 2019-2020 season under Lampard. West Ham United defender, Issa Diop, has finally decided to leave the club for Manchester United this summer, as reported by Telofoot. According to the French newspaper, the 22-year-old is eager to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side ahead of next season. The report also claimed that West Ham have rejected an initial offer from the Red Devils in excess of £40million plus a player for the France international. Coutinho is widely expected to leave Spain in the transfer window, after a below-par season at Camp Nou. United were thought to be the frontrunners for the 27-year-old and were weighing up a move for the Brazil playmaker. However, Coutinho is unwilling to consider a move to Old Trafford, after his spell at Liverpool from 2013-2018. After a loan spell in Espanyol, Coutinho left Inter Milan permanently in January 2013, to join Liverpool for £8.5m. It was at Anfield that Coutinho’s career really began to take off, with the Brazil international quickly becoming a key figure for the Reds. Coutinho eventually left for Barca in January 2018 for a reported fee of £142m.
