  Recall that back in January 2019, American actor Jussie Smollett, now 39 was hospitalized after he was reportedly injured by two men in what looks like a homophobic attack. This was during the period of his role as Jamal in the musical series Empire which later led him to not being able to continue the series to the latest episode.  The culprits were reportedly two men wearing ski masks that viciously attacked Jussie as he fought back. He suffered a fractured rib, and the attackers put a rope around his neck and poured bleach on him as they yelled, “This is MAGA country.” On apprehension, the Osundairo brothers were named in the alleged attack on Smollett. The story however took a turn when investigations had it that Smollett had actually staged this attack himself. Last year recorded the death of many young and old Nollywood actors and actresses and now this year 2020, as few deaths have being recorded in the early months. How many of you still remember that small chubby guy? He indeed made hia time in the industry but all of a sudden we no longer see him on screen. Alas, the Nigerian movie industry has again been thrown into mourning following the sad news of the demise of Yoruba Actor, Yusuf Satia. The death of the actor was announced by fellow actor, Kunle Afod via his Instagram page yesterday, July 21st, 2020. Sharing photo of the actor, Kunle Afod wrote: So sad to hear this … RIP Yusuf satia Is gone… Tried so much to see you this year and celebrate you but it was aborted… Satia was known for his role in an old Yoruba movie titled, Ijinle Pam Pam. Fans have since taken to the comment section to mourn the loss of yet another young Nollywood actor.
