As reported by a post on Vanguard news, the Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brig-Gen. Suleiman Kazaure, said on Monday that the scheme would soon begin posting of corps members to farms. Kazaure said this in an interview with newsmen during his official visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Sagamu, Ogun. He said that the move to deploy corps members to farms was in line with the agricultural development programme of the NYSC.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, on Tuesday asked Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIOs) to stay permanently off all roads across the state and challenged them to come up with technology to monitor and track vehicle registration and Ministry of Transportation (MOT) certifications. Some details of the negotiation involved in the release of 82 more Chibok girls by the dreaded Boko Haram terrorists have been released. NAIJ.com had reported that girls were released on Saturday, May 6 after a lengthy negotiation between the federal government and the terrorists. The senator representing Bayelsa East constituency at the upper chamber, Sen.
