WIZKID HAS BEING NOMINATED FOR SEVEN BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS.

Following Drake’s ‘One Dance’ hit song which has earned the Nigerian superstar "Wizkid" seven Billboard Music Awards nominations, of which Wizkid did the hook on the track which he also co-produced.

‘One Dance’ has being nominated for Top Hot 100 Song, Top Selling Song, Top Radio Song, Top Streaming Song (Audio), Top Collaboration, Top R&B Song and Top R&B Collaboration in the BBMA's

Billboard says the nominees are split up into 52 different categories.

Billboard ranks potential winners based on their song sales, streams, radio airplay, live tours and social engagement.

Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Nicki Minaj, Celine Dion, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Drake, John Legend, Florida Georgia Line and Camila Cabello are expected to perform.

Drake and The Chainsmokers were the most nominated. Both are contesting for awards in 22 categories.

They will also square up for major categories such as Top Artist, Top Male Artist, and Top Billboard 200 Artist.

Twenty-One Pilots have 17 nominations, Rihanna earned 14 while The Weeknd and Beyonce have 13 nominations each.


The annual awards ceremony is to hold on Sunday, 21st of May, 2017.

Kola Abiola, the eldest son of Late Chief MKO Abiola, has finally spoken on his alleged marriage to Aisha Babangida, the eldest daughter of Nigeria’s former Military President Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB). IBB and MKO Abiola were friends until the latter contested and won the June 12, 1993, presidential election, but the former would later cancel the election. Their relationship went sour, but before the annulment, Kola and Aisha were allegedly dating. At a time, it was speculated that they secretly got married. Rumour-mongers said the marriage failed after IBB annulled the election of MKO Abiola, which the late business mogul convincingly won under the Social Democratic Party (SDP). In an interview, Kola said they never got married. According to him, they’ve been friends before politics. “We never got married. I had known her way before politics and, if I wanted to, I would have married her long before the election, but it would not have made an
