Following the return of the 82 Chibok girls, the presidency has made an announcement that might surprise most Nigerians.
President Buhari has announced that he will be traveling to London on the night of May 7 for a medical check-up. The presidency says meanwhile, Vice President Osinbajo will be Acting President since the duration of this medical trip is yet to be announced. This report was verified from his spokesman, Mr. Femi Adesina, whom twitted this information on his handle account.
The president as well took to his official twitter handle, where he said "Tonight I leave for London, to see my doctors. When I came back in March, I hinted that there might be a need to return soon,for a follow-up".
