About 3,000 members of the 2016/2017 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 youth corps members and their counterparts in stream II, all of whom are serving in Nasarawa State on Monday staged a protest over the non-payment of their 11-month state allowances promised by the state government. The protest, which began at 10am, started from NYSC state secretariat along Kwandere Road, Lafia East development area of the state, to Shendam Road, Lafia, and it terminated at the entrance gate of the Government House, Lafia, at about 12 noon. It has been revealed that as many as 51 teachers failed the Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE) conducted by the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) in Lagos State. Mr Gbolahan Enilolobo, the state coordinator of the council, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Lagos that 412 teachers sat for the maiden edition of the examination. Producer, Spellz has revealed that the hit song, Malo, performed by Tiwa Savage and Wizkid, was originally his own. Segun Wire became popular on Social Media after a viral video where he said he wants to become a “Yahoo Boy” when he grows up went viral on Social Media. Recall that the Imo state Governor, Rochas Okorocha, on Saturday, October 14, 2017, unveiled a statue that was made in honour of the South African President, Jacob Zuma, in Owerri, Imo state. According to reports, the statue cost the Imo state government N520m to erect. A former lecturer in the Department of Crop Production, College of Agriculture, Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, Dr Solomon Osunlola, has reportedly committed suicide. While it could not be confirmed whether the deceased hanged himself or took poison, investigations, however, revealed different reasons for the suicide mission of the former university don. While it was gathered that the registrar of KWASU had written, informing him of his conversion to a contract staff from a full-time appointment, it was also learned that depression induced sickness might have led to the death of the middle-aged man. A source in the university, who craved anonymity, said that depressed Osunlola had started misbehaving after conversion of his appointment. The album contains 17 tracks, including the hit single,  'Wo!!!' . Featured guests on the album are  Mavin Records  diva,  Tiwa Savage, Phyno, Reminisce  and  Timaya . According to the rapper, the body of works was compiled under 48 hours by  Young Jonn  who produced almost all the tracks except for  'Shine'  the seventh on the list. The production credit of the song was attributed to Olamide.

Davido  announced the signing of the artiste known as  Peruzzio  on the official Instagram page of his label, Davido Music Worldwide. The announcement was made with a photo of Davido, some other crew members and the artiste supposedly signing his contract. However, Nigerians and their prying eyes have now discovered that  Peruzzio  was actually holding his pen to a blank A4 paper leading many to speculate that the artiste actually, never signed any contract and all they did was totally fake 😳 Maybe it was for the gram, but we can’t exactly tell.
