Kwara State University Mourns VC

It's with a sad heart that we share our heart felt sympathies to the entirety of Kwara State University and Kwara State Government at large and extend our heart felt sympathies also to the family of the humble and loving vice chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN.
The deceased KWASU VC became a VC, signifying another peak in his career, A senior advocate of Nigeria and Vice Chancellor at 47/48yrs,became Professor at 40/41. But, he couldn't enjoy all he laboured for. So unfortunate to loose this kind of shining star.
May Allah please forgive all his shortcomings and grant him Aljanat firdaus.

With very heavy heart but in total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, the Management of Kwara State University announces the death of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN. 
The sad event took place today, 20th November 2022 after a protracted illness. We urge all to remember the immediate and extended family and the University in prayers in this very trying time.
Burial arrangement will be announced soon.
