(Ladies Corner) Appreciate You For You - Adegboyega Janet a.k.a Mz Ebony

By Adegboyega Janet

Fashion and beauty are unarguably the basic concepts that many men define a lady with. But regardless of these, one most important value men seek in their type of lady is "body configuration" a.k.a body shape or figure 8.
These factors some men don't bother about, they're just interested in finding a true love, some men base their love on faith, etc.
Without further bush-beating, the main focus of today is on the affected side, "ladies".
Ladies love yourselves either you're slender or plus sized, dark skinned or light skinned.

Beauty comes from within and beauty starts with confidence.
So ladies, be comfortable in your skin, no lady needs to think she's not good enough or beautiful enough. The media and society has made every lady out there believe being fat is being ugly, having a bit of fat in some places is being ugly. That's a bloody lie.
There are men out there with different taste and different ideas of what a beautiful woman is, to some a beautiful woman is like Nicki Minaj, to some like Tiwa Savage, to some like Dorathy, to some a petite woman just like myself (chuckles). You'll be surprised that the kind of beautiful woman we want to be have insecurities too.

It's okay to feel beautiful, it becomes unhealthy when you're so obsessed with looking beautiful you start punishing your body. You have to love yourself before you expect others to love you, respect yourself before you expect others to. It's okay to burn calories, to okay to try and get fit but to be honest beautiful starts with self love and confidence.

Don't wait for others or let anyone tell you otherwise, you are beautiful just the way you are. No matter what the society says, you're beautiful in your own perfection and you're the best version of your gift to this world, there is only one of you, nobody else can do you like you.

Again, love yourself, respect yourself and be confident.
Stay healthy, stay awesome❤️
