KILIC 2019: Gov. AbdulRazaq Pledges Support For KILIC, In A Meeting With The Organising Committee Led By Mr. Adebisi Oyelere

Reporting from the early hours of 27th, November, 2019 (Wednesday), the Kwara Idol team, as part of the brand's preparation for it's maiden edition of Kwara Idol Live in Convert (KILIC), met with the Executive Governor of Kwara state, Alh. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, at the Kwara state Government House in Ilorin.

The team led by the Creative Director of Kwara Idol, Mr. Adebisi Oyelere, appreciated the Governor for his support in the last Season of Kwara Idol Reality TV Show, while imploring him to consider resuscitation of the Entertainment Industry in Kwara state as part of his plans for economic rejuvenation of Kwara state.

Oyelere revealed that "KWARA IDOL LIVE IN CONCERT - #KILIC'19" is a platform where Kwara students, youths and entertainers at large would showcase their God given talents, "it will provide an avenue to show Nigerians and the world our gift in Kwara state and assist them get the much needed attention for development and progression in their entertainment career".

Responding to the team, Governor AbdulRazaq appreciated the young chaps and their innovative ideas and efforts in moving the State forward.

He expressed Kwara State Government, under his watch, is readily available to turnaround culture, tourism and entertainment sector of the State. His Excellency therefore assured the team of his support for the forthcoming Kwara Idol Live In Concert - #KILIC'19.

Kola Abiola, the eldest son of Late Chief MKO Abiola, has finally spoken on his alleged marriage to Aisha Babangida, the eldest daughter of Nigeria’s former Military President Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB). IBB and MKO Abiola were friends until the latter contested and won the June 12, 1993, presidential election, but the former would later cancel the election. Their relationship went sour, but before the annulment, Kola and Aisha were allegedly dating. At a time, it was speculated that they secretly got married. Rumour-mongers said the marriage failed after IBB annulled the election of MKO Abiola, which the late business mogul convincingly won under the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
