Things That Are Bound To Happen To Your Body When You Stop Eating Bread

LadiesLodgeEnt.

According to most dieting advice, bread especially white bread is the devil.
They encourage bran instead of whole wheat while others go ahead and encourage you to toss the whole lot.

Should you completely eliminate bread from your diet?

Here are 5 things that happen when you stop eating bread.

1. You lose water weight
Carbs are stored in the body in the form of glycogen. Each gram of carbohydrate stores three to four times its weight in water. Cutting the carbs will therefore reduce the water weight.

2. You feel like you have the flu
Cutting carbs- which are a source of energy- will cause your body to start using fat reserves to get energy. You end up with bad breath, dry mouth, tiredness, weakness, dizziness, insomnia, nausea, and brain fog.

3. You increase or decrease your chances of getting Diabetes.
Refined carbs increase the levels of fatty acid that increase the risk of heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Eating whole grains on the other hand, improve blood-cholesterol levels and lower risk of heart disease, stroke, obesity, and type 2 diabetes.

4. You become constipated
Bread is a source of fiber especially whole grain bread. If you reduce your intake of whole grain bread, you increase the risk of developing obesity, increase blood sugar levels and make your stool very hard and difficult to pass.

5. You lack energy
This is because carbs are your body's preferred source of energy. Therefore you will feel lethargic if you stop taking bread.
