Janet Jackson released a brief video clip earlier today on her Instagram account, honoring what would have been her late brother Michael Jackson’s 60th birthday. The visual is an homage to MJ’s music video for his early ’90s hit “Remember the Time.”
The original video starred Eddie Murphy and Iman as Egyptian monarchs. In Janet’s version,
the singer plays a gilded royal who oversees dancing auditions performed by eager fans. Jackson’s latest single with Daddy Yannkee, “Made for Now” plays in the background. Watch it go down below. The video was made in collaboration with Kwaylon “BlameItOnKway” Rogers, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, and Diamond Batiste.
