BLOCKBUSTER MOVIE, "THE WEDDING PARTY" LOSES 200 MILLION NAIRA.

The producers of  the blockbuster movie which has being on massive view, ‘The Wedding Party Movie’, have been reportedly hit with major financial setback as much as 200 million Naira. Just weeks after the crew and cast of the record breaking movie celebrated their 500 million Naira profit, pirated versions have started selling at very cheap prices all over most cities in Nigeria; 500 Naira in Lagos, 400 Naira in Benin, 300 Naira in Abuja and Port- Harcourt, and the cheapest price goes for 200 Naira in Warri, Delta State.

It is also available for illegal streaming and downloading on Facebook and earlier on YouTube which reached over 200k views before it got flagged off for copyright and taken down. That’s over 200,000 people that would have paid the 1,000 Naira ticket price to watch it at the cinemas which would have earned the producers an extra 200 million Naira. Due to the volume of funds lost to these dubious means the producers have made plans to take the movie to NETFLIX and then put original CD's out for sale.

Super Eagles Players Owed Bonuses & Allowances (Read Full Gist)

Nigeria’s players are in dispute with the country’s football federation in the build-up to their Africa Cup of Nations match against Guinea. None of the Super Eagles players has received allowances or a $10,000 bonus. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is hoping to prevent a strike before the match in Egypt on Wednesday. “My player [Ahmed Musa] couldn’t attend the press conference today because they have a very important meeting,” said coach Gernot Rohr. “I just hope the situation can be resolved so we can focus on what we have in front of us.” The squad was an hour late for training on Tuesday and have not ruled out taking further action.
