PROPOSED KWASU STUDENT ACTIVITIES CENTER.

According to recent information in details, the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU), Prof. AbdulRasheed Na'Allah has given the-go on commencement of the long proposed "KWASU Student activities center", he said ''I hereby set up a committee to recommend the structure, composition and architectural details of a functional, state-of-the-art student-activities center, which will be
the mainstream place for KWASU's students social and extra mural activities, including social events venues, eateries, film show rooms, seminar and conference halls, meetings rooms, limited indoor sports venues, hotel
rooms and offices for student organizations, students affairs and more, also any recommendations that will result into a planning, architectural drawing and an execution of the 21st Century Students Activities Center.

The committee is to hold open sessions and consult widely among students, staff and locally and externally. The Committee is to consider the amount of energy needs required for full operation of this Centre in ways that the eventual architectural drawing by the Project Manager will include solar energy alternative provision''.
