DO YOU KNOW WHAT "ZIP CODE" ACTUALLY MEANS?

Generally most Nigerian have being confused for a long period of time over what the correct ZIP code of the country actually is. Well here is what we have for you: the word ZIP actually means Zone Improvement Plan and these codes apply only and majorly to the United States. Though these ZIP codes are used in the US just the way it is used in most other countries- for the purpose of mailing but in other countries it is rather referred to as Postal codes.
A typical example is when you are filling a form online and you see a box requesting for "country ZIP code", simply input 110001 or 23401.
In some cases, some sites tend to reject both codes, in such situations, try 00176, it is of certainty that one of these codes would be acceptable.

Most individuals are known to input 234 as ZIP code when requested, please note this is Nigeria's International dialing code. Simply use the above codes as ZIP code input when requested: 110001, 23401 or 00176.
