Italian professional football manager and former player now recently Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte has been named Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for December.
Conte becomes the first man to win the prize three times in succession having won it in October and November respectively. He won the award beating off his competitors from Tottenham’s, Mauricio Pochettino and Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp.
The Blues took maximum points from six matches conceding just three goals in December, with two of those coming in the final game of the month, the 4-2 win against Stoke City.
Chelsea scored 13, including three away at Manchester City.
