Dear All, it has come to notice from the Student Representative Association a news like never before. Some say it is majorly as a result of the increased population of studens admitted this year but verily there is a new change in the school policy of examination.
Attention: Lecturers and Students. I wish to inform you that the management has approved the following schedules and CBT policy for the Harmattan 2016/2017 Examinations.
The examinations for the 300, 400 and 500 levels shall commence with GNS courses on Friday Dec. 2, 2016 and end on Saturday Dec. 10, 2016. Classes for the 100 and 200 levels shall continue till Friday Dec. 16, 2016. Examination for 100 and 200 level shall commence immediately with GNS on Friday through Saturday Dec. 17, 2016, and end on Friday Dec. 23, 2016.
Course lecturers shall be the invigilator of their papers, however, where necessary, additional hands shall be involved. Furthermore, at the end of the examination, the answer scripts should be signed out for marking immediately after necessary documentation.
The minimum class size for CBT would be 200 students and the minimum questions to be set by the lecturer would be 250 questions for a 50 question examination.
Please note that for now, the CBT sitting capacity is limited. Hence GNS, 100 and 200 levels courses shall be given more priority. Presently, preparation of the Tentative Examination Timetable is in progress, all request for CBT duly endorsed by the HOD should be forwarded to the respective College officers for consideration.
Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding.
