Former Super Eagles coach, late Stephen Keshi has finally been laid to rest in his hometown Illah, Delta state. His funeral which took place on Friday, July 29, brought together his former teammates, family and friends, whom were there to pay
tribute to their friend popularly called the “Big Boss”.

Coach Stepehn Keshi became the second African and only Nigerian to win the Nations
Cup as a player and as a coach after Egypt’s Mahmoud El-Gohary when he won the AFCON 1994 and 2013 respectively.
It was said that he will be honored by naming a stadium in Delta state in his name after completion of the project.
