It has just come to information that Senate president, Dr Bukola Saraki along side his deputy Ike Ekweremadu are likely to be granted a stringent bail conditions forthwith of next week’s planned arraignment over alleged Senate Rules forgery and Conspiracy, As reported on Thursday, 23rd 2016 June.
Both individuals were set to be arraigned before Justice Yusuf Halilu of the Federal Capital Territory High Court on Monday on a two-count charge of forgery and conspiracy to commit forgery.
A source within the Federal Ministry of Justice and Office of the Attorney General of the Federation reportedly said that it was most likely that the two would be given "stringent bail condition".
Also to be arraigned along side them is a former clerk at the National Assembly, Salisu Maikasuwa and deputy clerk Benedict Efeturi. The four were supposed to be arraigned on Tuesday but the accused were not in court following claims that had not been served with court summons, which was later proved and officially done as reported on Wednesday.
