Former/late Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi who died on June 8, 2016 in the city of Benin at age 54 is said to have no written will before he met his sudden demise. Due to this reason, sources say that the family hinted that this has intricately led to the issue of where to bury him and who gets what of his properties.
As he is known to be a High Chief of the Illah kingdom, his place of origin in Delta State, the former Super Eagles coach ought to buried literarily in his ancestral home but the children are saying otherwise as they stipulate that they want their father buries beside his wife at his home in Benin. Though both Edo and Delta State governments have not taken any decision on the matter at hand but details have it that the Secretary to the Delta State Government said they will rather let the late manager be buried in Illah, Delta State.
