ROMA SUBMITS PLAN FOR NEW STADIUM TO THE OLYMPICS COMMITEE.

Roma have announced they have submitted plans for their new stadium to the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). The Serie A side are hoping to move into Stadio della Roma in August 2018.

“This represents the beginning of the final submission process that will see the comprehensive dossier of the Stadio della Roma project presented to Regione Lazio.

“As part of this submission, CONI will receive the project’s detailed designs and narrative reports for the stadium, new training complex and Roma Village prepared by a group of national and international team of experts.” Words have being going out that the Roma stadium should probably be considered for the 2024 Olympics.

Kola Abiola, the eldest son of Late Chief MKO Abiola, has finally spoken on his alleged marriage to Aisha Babangida, the eldest daughter of Nigeria’s former Military President Gen. Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida (IBB). IBB and MKO Abiola were friends until the latter contested and won the June 12, 1993, presidential election, but the former would later cancel the election.
