We at KWASU join the entire Ilorin community, Kwara State and Nigeria as a whole to express gratitude to Allah (SWT) for granting us a worthy father as Emir.

His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin has always been an exemplary leader under whose rule, Ilorin has continued to lead as a city founded in harmony and steeped in Islamic knowledge.

The Emir's position in the comity of traditional rulers in Nigeria is significant and his rule has been characterised by peaceful coexistence among the diverse people, cultures and religions who reside in Kwara State.

As a jurist of repute before his ascension to the throne, His Royal Highness was exemplary and Allah has blessed us by allowing him reign as Emir benevolently.

It is our prayer that Allah grants our Emir many more years in sound health so he can continue to guide the city on the path of harmony and morality.
