Nollywood actress Cossy Orjiakor has revealed that her marriage may not last a month. Cossy Orjiakor said her marriage may not last a month during a recent interview with Sunnews, when asked if she is scared of marriage. According to her:  “I am not scared of marriage. However, if it is somebody that is crazy enough to like someone like me; that would be great! But then, I am not that kind of person that is really into the love thing. . A throat infection, that has killed 12 people, is spreading across Essex, with 32 cases of invasive Group A streptococcal (also known as GAS, or Strep A) having been recorded so far. This disease has being reported to be passed on by kissing, sneezing and skin-to-skin contact.   The outbreak began in Braintree, Essex, but has also been detected in nearby Chelmsford and Maldon. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has written a letter to the Clerk of the Senate, demanding the receipts, cash books and documents of the contracts of the Office of the President of the 8th Senate led by Bukola Saraki. The EFCC, in a letter signed by the Director of Operations, Mohammed Umar, said it was investigating cases of conspiracy, stealing and money laundering. In the letter with reference number CR: 3000/EFCC/ABJ/CMU/SAK/Vol1/168, the commission asked the clerk to also attach any other information that might assist the anti-graft agency in its investigation. Troops of the Nigerian Army have killed dozens of Boko Haram terrorists during an ambush in Goniri, Yobe State on Wednesday, June 26. The terrorists had attempted to infiltrate the position of the 120 Task Force Battalion, Sector 2 Operation Lafiya Dole late on Wednesday when they were neutralised by troops, according to a statement signed by the Acting Director of Army Public Relations, Colonel Sagir Musa. “Troops of the Battalion, in a professional manner, tactically waited for the terrorists to close into the killing range and opened heavy volume of fire on the criminals who approached the location with 7 gun trucks and several other fighters on motorcycles,” The statement read. A High Court sitting in Ilorin on Wednesday dismissed the certificate forgery case filed against Kwara State Governor, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, following the claimant’s application to withdraw the case. Delivering judgment, the judge, Adenike Akinpelu, struck out the case after Adekunle Abraham, a member of the PDP, who filed the case, told the court he had presented a notice of withdrawal of the case. Mr Akinpelu held that the withdrawal means that, the efforts of one Olusola Olaseinde who wanted to join the suit were inconsequential since the original case has been withdrawn. Mr Abdulrazaq had repeatedly said the case was politically motivated and meant to stop him from contesting the March 9 governorship poll, adding that the claimant was acting out a script from his political adversary.
