2022/2023 Academic Session: KWASU Gets NUC Approval To Commence Medicine & Surgery With 24 Other New Programmes

Following the update from the Director for University Relations, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the establishment of new courses in the World Class University, Malete, such as MBBS Medicine and Surgery and twenty-three other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at the Kwara State University. The approval which was contained in a letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor of the Institution, Professor Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi SAN, was signed by the Director Academic Planning, Dr. N.B. Saliu for the Executive Secretary of the Commission. Topping the list of approved programmes for the university is the MBBS Medicine and Surgery; B.Eng. Food Engineering; B.Sc. Aquaculture and Fisheries Management; B.Sc. Taxation; B.Sc. Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution; and B.Ed. Educational Management.
