Born Lagos parents on June 14, 1988 as Raymond Igbalodey Abbass but popularly known as Hushpuppi. Facts and details about his background and family is little information known, even most details known about him are not of assuring validity such as his age.
Still yet unclarified wether he's Raymond or Rahmon Hushpuppi but he is also known by many other attributes, he's sometimes called “Aja Puppi” a.k.a Aja 4.
The basis of his extravagant lifestyle is still yet unknown but claims have it that he's a Malaysian-base-Nigerian philanthropist. The young man has taste for good things as he is indeed no doubt highly fashionable.
The flashy lifestyle that involves private jets, expensive cars, pictures in luxurious hotels and clubs and costly drinks have made him so popular. When asked what he actually does for a living, he says he is a "professional beggar".
He's often commonly associated with showing off in classy and expensive designers, most commonly the likes of Fendi and Gucci brand materials which had caused him some ruckus with the company some years back when he was disclaimed and accused by the public that he's not indeed making use of genuine Gucci products and claimed he is even well known to the owner of the Gucci brand.
Of recent also was one of Nigeria's billionaires, the C.E.O of Five Star Music and Emy Cargo Limited, E-money, born Emeka Okonkwo in Ajegunle, Lagos, Nigeria, on February 18, 1981, who was also arrested by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on the claims that he spends extravagantly, though this event lasted only few days before he was later released on some cleared charges. At least he's clear on what his investments are and how his wealth is somewhat believed to have accumulated.
Hushpuppi on the other hand was arrested last month by the Dubai police force in the United Arab Emirates on the charges of fraud and money laundering alongside some of his colleagues. But he's currently in the custody of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) face a charge of conspiring to engage in money laundering that is alleged in a criminal complaint filed on June 25 by federal prosecutors in Los Angeles.
His assigned lawyer, Gal Pissetzky whom is claimed to have being the same lawyer hired during the late Michael Jackson molestation case years ago says the accused (his client, Raymond Abbass) is into real estates and is not a fraudster. Gal has made it known publicly that his client won't be going to prison and also on the verge of moving the case down to Nigeria, as the accused is only rightly to face the justice in his nation.
Recall that, Hushpuppi in the first few weeks of his arrest by the Dubai police force had made some confessions stating that he's partners include some top Nigerian politicians such as Atiku Abubakar and Dino Melaye amongst others. Alas with the plot of his lawyer, Gal to bring the case to Nigeria is no doubt that Hushpuppi is rest assured he'd win over with the help of political power in Nigeria, even though he's being tried in the United States but to his dissatisfaction.
This is indeed a plot of prison break by Hushpuppi and his no doubt laudable lawyer, Gal Pissetzky. Steps in the prison break:
#1. His mention of his accomplices in Nigeria, who happened to be top politicians;
#2. Transfer of his case from Dubai Police force in United Arab Emirates to the United States
#3. His plan to get his case moved to Nigeria
With all these analysis, its no doubt and clear what the end of this case would be.
