THE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY AND THE REPRESENTATIVES


In recent information's that has had the ears of most citizens on the ground is the issue concerning the 2 major ideas of providing an official/personal ride for each members of the House Of Assembly.
First of is the TOYOTA LAND CRUISER latest model which is said to be of 16.5 million naira worth would be allocated to 58 members of the house of assembly representatives. Senator Ibrahim Gobir (Senator in charge of house of rep. senator's stipends)was said to have reported that the number of vehicles to be false and he said " the government has only allocated 36 of the vehicles and not 58.
Secondly again, it is said that int the 6 month (June), the Peugeot car producing company in Nigeria is giving out the Peugeot 508 model vehicle to representatives in the house of assembly. News has it that this vehicles are mainly to serve to oversee their national duties.
